Oil fluid pane

Oil is characterized by:

  • Oil Gravity: Oil density relative to water. Only used for calculation of volume-based average blending values; see Facility Operation Options in the facility General Tab (Facility).
  • Initial GOR: Initial solution Gas-Oil Rate expressed as gas content per volume of oil. Used in the calculation of reservoir recoverable gas.
  • Bo: Oil formation volume factor (oil volume at reservoir conditions divided by oil volume at standard conditions). Used in the calculation of Oil In Place when Trap Volumetrics or Source & Trap Volumetrics methods are selected (Reserves Tab), and of Voidage Replacement rates (Injection Tab).
